17/0567 - Reserved Matters for Local Centre Landscape and Infrastructure (Phase 2)Glan Llyn OF 06/0471
Decision pending.
M4 Motorway
Ongoing.
17/0887 – Partial Discharge of Condition 01 (Reserved Matters) in Relation to Roads and Footways and Landscaping Around the Proposed Surface Water Attenuation Ponds and Partial Discharge of Condition 06 (Materials for Hardsurfacing), Condition 08 (Station Road Access), Condition 09 (Construction Details of Roads, Cycleways and Footways) and Condition 25 (Streetlighting) all Pursuant to Planning Application 16/0864 (Variation of Conditions of Permission 13/0806) for the Development of up to 1100 Dwellings, a Primary School, Village Centre, Public Open Space, Landscaping and Associated Infastructure
The discharge of one attenuation pond is into Monks Ditch via pipework on the side of Bishton Road. The Chair will write to Geraint Roberts to advise that the proposed line of the pipework is adjacent to an ancient hedge line which could potentially damage the roots.
The line of the pipework also follows the line of the old roadside ditch that carries a drain from the gullies on the corner of Station Road and Bishton Road, there doesn’t seem to be any connection to the proposed new lines in Station Road and as such the removal of this could be detrimental to the residents of Station Road.
The old drainage ditch drains the spring fed water from the fields adjacent to Bishton Road, via the existing flap valve into Monks Ditch, if this system is not kept or an alternative installed the field could become water logged.
17/0991 – Partial Discharge of Condition 3 (Design Code) of Planning Permission 16/0864 for Variation of Conditions 2 (Reserved Matters), 3 (Masterplan) and 5 (Design Code) of Planning Permission 13/0806 for the Variation of Condition (Time Limits) of Planning Permission 06/0845 for Residential Development (Up to 100 Dwellings) and Provision of Primary School, Village Centre, Public Open Space, Landscaping and Associated Infrastructure Works (Affecting Public Rights of Way 397/3, 397/9 and 397/10 Llanwern
