WHAT’S NEW?

There are 3 juvenile osprey in the nest at the lake across from Fox Freeway; 2 are flying and 1 is getting ready to take off.

Interesting facts about osprey: the female (1.6 kg) is heavier than the male (1.4 kg) and they can have a wingspan of up to 6 feet.

2 of their toes are reversible which enables them to turn a fish in their clutches so that it is carried head first incurring less wind resistance.

Osprey from Canada spend the winter in Central and South Americas

…the MINI-GOLF COURSE is being resurfaced and five holes are ready for play
