Rules of play – The game is simple…however, the games do have rules that players must learn to abide by….

The start and restart of play: A coin is tossed and the team that wins the toss decides which goal it will attack in the first half of the match. The other team takes the kick-off to start the match. The team that wins the toss takes the kick-off to start the second half of the match. In the second half of the match, the teams change end and attack the opposite goals. An indirect kick must start the game because of the modified field dimensions.

The number of players: The game shall be played by two teams, each consisting of not more than 7 players, one of whom shall be the goalkeeper. A game shall not be started with fewer than 6 properly uniformed players on each team. After the game is started, it may not be continued with fewer than 6 players on either team.

Unlimited substitutions will be allowed at the following times:

1- Prior to a throw-in (your possession)

2-After a goal is scored

3-At half time

4-At the end of a stoppage for an injury, with the permission of the referee

5- At a goal kick

The Ball: Size 5

Offside’s rule will apply

The Throw in: A method of restarting play. A goal cannot be scored directly from a throw in. A throw in is awarded:

1-When the whole of the ball passes over the touch line, either on the ground or in the air

2-From the point where it crossed the touch line

3-To the opponents of the player who last touched the ball

Ball in and out of play: The ball is out of play when:

1-It has wholly crossed the goal line or touchline whether on the ground or in the air.

2-Play has been stopped by the referee

Direct / Indirect kicks: opponents must be (5) yards from ball.

Duration of the match: 2 x 25minute halves. 5 minute break at halftime. If game ends in tie, the game will remain a tie.

Playing time: All players SHALL play 50% of the total playing time.

The player’s equipment – A player must not use equipment or wear anything that is dangerous to himself or another player, including any kind of jewelry. In the event that a player has a cast on a body part, that player must have a doctor’s release to be able to participate. Once the release is provided, the player is eligible to play but must have the cast wrapped with a soft cover to avoid potential injuries to other players. Basic compulsory equipment of a player is: a jersey, shorts, stockings, footwear, and shin guards that are covered entirely by the stockings, are made of a suitable material and provide a reasonable degree of protection. Each goalkeeper wears colors that distinguish him/her from other players and the referee.

Fouls and Misconduct – A direct free kick is awarded to the opposing team if a player commits any of the following offenses in a manner considered by the referee to be careless, reckless or using excessive force:

1-kicks, trips or attempts to kick or trip an opponent

2-jumps or charges at an opponent

3-strikes or attempts to strike an opponent

4-pushes or holds an opponent

5-spits at an opponent

6-handles the ball deliberately
