This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Summer Championship show. This show is a qualifier for “The BSPS Premier League” the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th placed ponies in the lead-rein, first ridden, open show pony, lead-rein of hunter type, open SHP, cradle & nursery stakes, open WHP, Intermediate SRT, WH & SH and hertiage lead-rein, first ridden, ridden & WHP classes.

The 1st placed ponies in the BSPS Heritage M&M classes will qualify for the WOW Factor (Winner Of Winners) at the BSPS Summer Championship Show.

This show is a qualifier for “The BSPS Classic Security (UK) Ltd Challenge” the highest placed pony in the lead-rein, first ridden, open show pony, leasd-rein of hunter type, open SHP, cradle & nursery stakes, open WHP, Intermediate SRT, WH & SH and hertiage lead-rein, first ridden, ridden & WHP classes that has not already qualified for the 2017 HOYS in the appropriate class will qualify. If the highest placed pony has already qualified the qualification will be awarded to the next eliglble pony.

This show is a qualifier for “The BSPS Black Country Saddles Rider of the Year.” The best rider in each of the following open classes will be awarded a Best Rider Card & qualify for the final at the BSPS Summer Championship show: lead-rein, first ridden, open show pony, lead-rein of hunter type, open SHP, cradle & nursery stakes, open WHP, Intermediate SRT, WH & SH and hertiage lead-rein, first ridden and the best rider 25years and under in the heritage ridden & WHP classes.

Ponies (UK) 1st 2nd and 3rd placed horses/ponies will qualify for the P(UK) Winter Classic 2018

Competitors in qualifying positions, are not required to become members of PUK Qualification cards will be awarded in the ring

Senior showing & dressage ltd. The Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL First Round Qualifiers are open to both Affiliated and Unaffiliated Riders and Handlers of the Senior Showing & Dressage Ltd. SSAD Ltd rulebook can be found at www.seniorshowinganddressage.co.uk

Qualification cards will be handed out in the ring at the time of presentation.

NEXT STAGE SECOND ROUND QUALFIERS – You can only compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Second Round Qualifiers, if you are a 2017 affiliated rider/handler and your animal is registered with SSAD Ltd and hold the 2017 member/registration card. Once you have qualified at a First Round Qualifier and you have received an Acceptance card, only then may you compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans Second Round Qualifier The Second Round Champions will go on to compete at the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Supreme Final at the London International Horse Show in December 2017 .

Equifest. The 2 highest placed exhibitors not already qualified in each affiliated class will qualify for the championship show held at the East of England Showground in August.

TGCA. These classes are qualifiers for the Best of Breed Finals at the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association's (TGCA) National Breed Championship Show “TOYS”. Classes are open to all traditional gypsy cobs. Top three in each class qualify. In open height classes, top three in small and large sections qualify. Stallions– All stallions (four years and over) in order to enter any TGCA affiliated class MUST have their TGCA stallion disc displayed on their bridle. Existing TGCA members must present their qualification card to the judge in the ring for signature. Non members will receive a qualification card from the judge and will have 21 days to join the TGCA and to register their horse to validate the qualification. Quest Championship

1st, 2nd and 3rd from the TGCA classes may go forward to the Quest for a Star Championship,providedthey are current TGCA members and the horse is TGCA registered. Membership cards and qualification cards (specific to that exhibit) must be presented upon entry into the ring. The Champion and Reserve qualify for the Ultimate Star Championships at TOYS

Riders not to have attained their 9th birthday before1st January in the current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in a snaffle bridle, lead rein to be attached to the noseband only.

Class 18: Ponies (UK) Brineton Lead Rein / The BSPS Lead Rein Pony / Equifest Show Pony Lead Rein Mare or gelding, 4 years old & over not exceeding 122cms, riders not to have attained their 8th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in a snaffle bridle, lead rein to be attached to the noseband only.

Class 19: Novice M&M Lead Rein Not to have won a first prize of £10.00 or more in any open M&M Leading Rein class before 1st January in the current year. Open to Shetland, Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest, Welsh A & B ponies, registered in their approved respective Pure Breed Societies. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 9th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Lead Rein to be attached to the noseband only.

Class 20: Ponies (UK) Lobster Pot M&M Lead Rein / The BSPS Heritage M&M Lead Rein / Equifest M&M Lead Rein. Open to Shetland, Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest, Welsh A&B Ponies registered with their pure breed societies. Mare or gelding, 4 years & over not exceeding 122cms; riders not to have attained their 9th birthday before 1st Jan of the current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in snaffle bridles, lead rein to be attached to noseband only.

Class 21: The BSPS Tiny Tots First Ridden Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 8th birthday before 1st January in the current year. On the go round ponies will not be asked to change the rein.

In their individual shows ponies will be expected to walk up, trot back, cantering is optional but no figure of eight or change of rein required.

Class 22: The BSPS Heritage M&M Tiny Tots First Ridden Registered Pure Bred Mare or Gelding 4 yrs. old or over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 9th birthday before 1st. January in the current year. On the go round ponies will not be asked to change the rein. In their individual shows ponies will be expected to walk up, trot back, cantering is optional but no figure of eight or change of rein required.

Class 23: Ponies (UK) Brineton First Ridden Pony / The BSPS First Ridden Pony / Equifest Show Pony First Ridden Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 122cm. Riders not to have attained their10th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be shown in a snaffle bridle.

Class 24: Novice M&M First Ridden Ponies not to have won a first prize of £10.00 or more in any open M&M First Ridden class before 1st January in the current year. Open to Shetland, Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest, Welsh A & B ponies, registered in their approved respective Pure Breed Society Stud Book. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. To be shown in any suitable bridle, riders not to have obtained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year.
