BSPS 2017 Winter Championships at Arena UK, Allington, Grantham
The 1st, 2ndand 3rdprize winners will qualify in the Novice Classes and the Open First Pony of Show Hunter Type and in the mixed height novice classes 1st, 2nd, 3rdand 4th prize winners will qualify. In the Open/Restricted classes the three highest placed Restricted animals in each class will qualify and in the Mixed Height Open/Restricted Classes the four highest placed Restricted animals will qualify (riders on Restricted animals MUST wear an armband).
1st – 4th prize-winners in the Open/Restricted classes at Winter qualifying shows will qualify for the Premier League at the BSPS Summer Champ. Show
1stprize-winners in the Heritage Rest/Open classes will qualify for the B.S.P.S. Industrial Salt Supplies WOW FACTOR (“Winner of Winners”) at the B.S.P.S. Summer Championship Show.
Animals must be registered before the date of the Show at which they qualify for the Winter Championships and must be ridden by a BSPS member, except in the case of exhibitors who have never been members before who are allowed 7 days in which to become members and register their ponies, providing they have a valid JMB Certificate before the date of the Championship they qualify for.

This show is a qualifier for the Ponies (UK) Winter Classic 2017 & Equifest 2017
“THE 1ST 2ND & 3RD IN EACH QUALIFYING CLASS WILL QUALIFY.” Qualification cards will be awarded in the ring and golden tickets will be awarded to the champion/winner in each affiliated section. Placing’s will be confirmed by results sent in by the show secretary. Competitors in qualifying positions, are not required to become PUK members.

Not exc 133 to jump first. Competitors to jump in their correct height section and be the correct age for the height of the animals they ride. In a mixed height WHP/WH riders may ride more than one animal providing the animals are of a different height. Riders must declare if they are competing in the 153cm or Intermediate sections Animals may not compete in the 153 cms. WHP Class and the Intermediate Working Hunter Class at the same Show in the same section, except at the RIHS (Subject to confirmation)

Class 17 BSPS Heritage M&M Open (Restricted) / PUK Brineton M&M First Ridden. Mare or gelding 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Any suitable bridles permitted. The 3 highest placed Restricted to qualify BSPS

CLASS 21 P(UK) CONFINED NOVICE KINGSFORD M&M RIDDEN WINTER CHAMPIONSHIP M&M Stallion, Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over. Registered in the Pure Bred Section of the Breed Societies Stud Books of Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Connemara, Dales, Fells, Highlands, New Forest & Welsh Sections A, B, C & D. Rider any age. NOT to have won a first prize of £10 or more in any open ridden mixed M&M classification before 1st January in the current year, riders any age.
