Business Meeting Minutes of September 16, 2016
The meeting was called to order at 9:00a.m. by President Knockwood.
Present – Members at the meeting per the sign in sheet.
Secretary’s Report: Minutes of June 15, 2016 were approved by the members.
Treasurers Report by Cyndi Tower:
Starting balance of September 1, 2015 was $23,482.92, deposits through August 31, 2016 were $7,907.51 and Expenses were $7,523.80 with an ending balance of $23,866.63. The Treasurers Report was approved by the members.
President Report by Michelle Knockwood:
The website is up and running. Members need to check their information and update as needed. It will be the only way of communication from the Board to the membership. Chapter Manager has a module called “Member Connect” that allow the members to present a question/query to other members for their input. The initial cost is $350 to set up and then $100 annually thereafter. Michelle questioned the members present to see what they thought of getting it. Art Giulietti thought it was a great idea and the board should go ahead getting it. Michelle stated they board would discuss this further at their meeting at the end of the day.
We are still looking for one new board member to fill an open spot. If you are interested please let me or the Board know.
Thank you to our present Board for their support, and team work to present current topics of interest though out the year.
CT PRIMA’s list of current business partners can be found in the meeting packet that you received today. We thank them for their continued support. Their support helps CT PRIMA provide quality educational programs throughout the year. The new CT PRIMA website have the business partner’s name on it, along with a link to their website. If the membership knows of any business that would like to become a CT PRIMA business partner, please have them contact a Board member for more information.
A reminder that our next meeting will be a breakfast meeting to be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 8:00AM to 12:00PM also at the Hilton Garden Inn, Route 68 in Wallingford. The board is in the process of putting the event together, topics and getting speakers. So watch for the meeting information that will be posted on our CT PRIMA website soon.
