Training and Education
·  Recap NCI/Mayo education dates/topics
o  Review topics for Mayo presentation on model/api
o  Additional session for specific questions on Introduce?
·  Boot camp scheduled / §  It looks like we’re set for the teleconferences next week on Mon, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
§  High level items we’re considering – LexGrid model and associated metadata, API, service classes, Lucene indexing, API examples, distributed LexBig API, GUI for testing. It sounds like those topics sound good.
§  We have interest in some Introduce training prior to the boot camp – particularly around circular references. Would it be possible to get training in a session now? It may not be next week but Johnita will touch base with Scott and see if we can set up a meeting.
§  The boot camp has been scheduled for the days following the annual meeting. / §  We’ll send Johnita a detailed agenda.
§  Johnita will touch base with Scott Oster about Introduce training session.
EVS 4.1 release
·  SW Ticket 36186 - Production BioPortal Performance
·  Review any other outstanding bugs/issues / §  #36186 – performance issue with visualizing concepts - it would churn for a while and then get a system time out. If you go back and select concept it would display ok. A few tried it and got the same result.
§  We’ll need to get the environment setup here. Scott will work on this. / §  Tracy will get a copy of the database for us – probably Friday.
EVS 4.2 release
·  Removal of Kinds from NCI Thes source
·  Loader status - (LOINC, HL7, MedDRA)
·  Review status of grid model and service impl (time permitting) / §  The kinds issue was brought up by caDSR. Can these be removed? We discussed options for this. Frank was concerned about the dependencies and the migration coming up in June. Steve requested that this be a Gforge request and connect this to a release.
§  Loader status –
o  For MedDra, Scott checked with Stuart and they will be consistently 6 months behind. So we feel confident we can just go with the UMLS load.
o  LOINC – Kevin has been working with Steph for requirements. Hope to have these defined by the end of this week and development next week.
o  HL7 – Craig and Scott have been investigating this and hope to start working on code next week.
§  Scott & Kevin gave an update on the grid work. / §  Gilberto will put the dependency into the migration plan.
LexWiki / §  One of the things for NCI in MediaWiki is to bring into their instance some of the features that’ve been built for WHO.
§  Principally working with Wil Garcia and Johnita.
§  Call with BiomedGT either immediately before or after this meeting. Or they have an internal meeting on Fridays at 11am EST, weekly status for Biomed GT Wiki. / §
