·  Future dates:

o  On Line registration opens Dec 1st

o  Registration dates Wednesday Jan 22nd 5-8pm

o  Registration Saturday Jan 25th 9-5

·  Try Outs Feb 8th

o  Will try for Woodland Intermediate School

o  Discussed different time frame for 50-70 boys division

o  Next month we need to decide on PAC Coast try outs

·  Late Fees begin Feb 9th

o  $25 late fee

o  No late fee for t-ball

·  Draft Feb 22nd

·  Jamboree March 22nd

·  Season begins the week of April 7th

·  Registration Fees: $100 per player

o  No fundraiser; however, if players want to sell Papa Murphys cards, they can take 6 cards to sell for $5 each to offset the increase fee of $30.

·  Arwyn is working with Teagan at the School District for a Registration location with computers.

·  Brian will send out information for Positive Coaching Program

o  Discussed having coaches training/safety meeting on the same day as draft. Need to decide at next board meeting.

·  Arwyn and Misty will send out sponsor forms this week.

Equipment Officer:

·  Jerry reports that we need minor baseball jerseys this year, he recommends transferring the current ProMesh softball jerseys to minor baseball, then purchasing more ProMesh jerseys to fulfill the minor boys baseball teams.

·  He brought an example of a softball jersey that he recommends for softball.

President:

·  Discussed Softball Player Agent positions

o  Brent will be the player agent for coach pitch and major divisions

o  Gessica will be the player agent for minors and juniors divisions

·  Currently we have 33,157.58. About $800 outstanding balance

·  We got contract for fireworks stand… Need to decide if we are going to move forward with having the stand.

·  Jackets are no longer manufactured and someone with Fired Up Graphics is looking for them on line.

·  Brian motions to drop Fired Up graphics and go with Athletes Corner for new coat design. Arwyn seconds 4 yes and 0 no.

·  Rick T. will go to Athletes Corner find new coat style and will get them back ASAP.

Softball Player Agent:

Coach Development:

·  Mandatory clinics, safety clinic, basic fundamentals of baseball, sample practice plans, each division walk through a practice, Sr. Boys will help out. Coaching clinics with Nik Lubisich from 8th Street Sports.

·  Positive Coaching Alliance, online course takes about an hour to hour and a half. Will be a great tool to move forward with the league. Make mandatory for all managers and coaches.

·  Cost $1050 for 50 coaches.

·  This will be implemented for the 2014 Season.

Player Development:

·  Nik Lubisich support clinics.

·  Meeting on Friday Oct 18th to discuss player development at Casa’s

·  Club team with an age group to pilot program. Bring teams in to do a one day tournament for 4-6 teams. This would be our in-lue of to having a more competitive option for our players.

·  Pitching, hitting, throwing, defensive clinics for whole age group
