100-pt Writing Grade

In order for me to get to know you and for you to think about what you want to get out of your years at BTHS, you will write yourself a letter. I will hold onto this letter and give it back to you when you graduate. Your letter should be between one and a half and two and a half pages long, double-spaced and typed. You do NOT need an APA title page, but your name must be on your letter. Keep in mind the following:

  • Answer the following questions:
  • Why did you decide to come to BTHS?
  • How’s it going so far?
  • What are two specific goals you want to achieve by the end of the year? Why did you choose those goals? (please do not say that your goals are getting good grades or getting into a good college…I already know you have those goals)
  • What is one specific goal you want to achieve by graduation? Why did you choose that goal? (please do not say that your goals are getting good grades or getting into a good college…I already know you have those goals)
  • Feel free to add more if you have something else to say.
  • Be creative if you so choose.
  • Be honest with yourself and have fun!
  • This is the one assignment that does NOT have to be in APA format. Use whatever fonts or colors you choose. However, remember that it must be double-spaced and legible, and your name should be on it.
