Thank you for your request for information, which was received by Manchester City Council on 4th February 2013 and has been considered under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

In your request, you asked:-

  • The entire documentation for all areas and legal agreements made by Manchester City Council of the 'adopted Unitary Development Plan'.
  • Documentation of what was EXACTLY done to consult the public before the 'Unitary Development Plan' was agreed upon if at all?

Since receiving your request, the City Council has assembled the documents relevant to your request that it holds. A list of these is set out in Appendix 1 to this letter. The UDP was adopted 18 years ago this July, and therefore it is possible that some documents that related to your request are no longer held by the Council.
