This Month’s Main Scriptures:

I Chronicles 16: 34 – Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.

Psalm 100:4-5 – Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.

Matthew 26: 26-28 – While theyey were eating, Jesus took bread, and when He had given thanks, He broke it and gave it to His disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is My body.” Then He took a cup, and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Luke 17:15-16 – One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked Him—and he was a Samaritan.

Colossians 3:16 – Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

I Thess. 5:18 – ...give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Deuteronomy 6: 6-7

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6

The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them. Isaiah 11:6

He called a little child to Him, and placed the child among them. And He said: Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in My name welcomes Me. Matthew 18: 2-5

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord. Ephesians 5:8

The Children: Please and Thank You!

Teach the children how to say please and thank you and to be pleasing and thankful.

  1. The Child: Impressionable.

you can’t tell them much. Teach early.

Pray for them…because they’re children.
