- Go through warmup in Essential Elements, do number 1-10
Have students play solos and start challenging each other for chairs, and grade on sounds, and knowledge of material / Activities and Materials:

- Warmup, Brazos Fight Song, Hey Song
- Work on Warmup and Fight Song
- Begin working on warmup, and having students identify notes they are not used to playing. Work diligently through the warmup

- Continue to work on basics with fundamental sound
- Warmup, Essential Elements 1-15, Work with stuggling students
- Work with struggling students, who maybe struggling with making sound. Play solos to access how students progressing

- Begin working on Fight Song and Warmup
- Begin working on the warmup, and have students identify notes thye are not used to playing. Work diligently through the warmup
- Have students work through warmup on their own

- Go further in the book, and have students solo on picked song
- To see how students are progressing we will have each student play a solo out of the book, no matter the number just so they play
- Work number 1-15, working on sound

- Work through the beginning of the Fight Song
- Work on the beginning of the Fight Song, making sure that every student can play play the opening rhythm. Continue to slowly work through warmup
- Work on self practice, and working on Fight Song

- Work on challenges as students work to get into top 5 and top chairs in the class
- Have students play number 20, as they vie for chairs in the classroom
- Home study with practicing
- Instrument
- Warmup, Fight Song, Hey Song
- Play through Fight Song concentrating on Pecussion solo
- Play through entire fight song, and work with the percussion on their solo section. Work through the warmup, and make sure the students are getting the right notes, especially with whole note section
- Have the students start working on The Hey Song
