-We will be previewing Senior Capstone Presentations this week – Please be prepared to provide feedback
-Choose a recipe from your country- talk to parents/guardians as well – print recipe – staple to your journal sheet– due Thursday
-Remember that you are the travel agent. You will be taking us on a trip to your country of your choice. This is the time to design your unique design.Use all of the IT skills you have gained to create the best presentation. – Each of you have been scheduled to present next week – check your date! – Be ready!

-Daily Journal: Now that you have had a chance to study the customs and cultures of different countries, what would you say are some interesting facts and traditions that you have found. Would you like to visit any of these countries or the country you are researching? Discuss. (5 sentences)

-Daily Journal: Have you ever travelled to any country or travelled overseas?What would you do if you woke up and found yourself in a foreign country and no one could understand you? Discuss. (5 sentences)

-Daily Journal: Go online and find one of the latest technology gadgets available today. Copy and paste the URL into your journal. Read the article and discuss what is unique about this gadget and how it may be useful to us.( Example: The Robotic vacuum called the ROOMBA or A radar system that has been squeezed on to an inexpensive silicon chip - it could be used in cars to help with driving in the fog) (5 Sentences)
-Continue to complete Country Power Point Presentations / Use suggestions from Teacher website/ print outline format and 6 per page – rough draft – remember to include bibliography slide – due by next Friday
-Daily Journals Due Today - Staple Country Recipe to journals
Friday, April 20
-You should have completed your Travel agent PowerPoint presentation. Please print 6 per page and staple together. BE CAREFUL to select the correct print option. Do not print individual slides as that will result in a ZERO. We will present next week
