Lesson Completion Schedule

The goal for the upcoming school year is for all students to passapproximately 30 lessons. The average student passes around 70% of their lessons, so this means they would need to complete around 42 lessons to achieve the 30 lessons passed goal. Of course every student is different, but this timeline gives you a general plan for how to keep your students on track.

Week 1-2 /
  • Complete Placement Test
  • Complete 1 lesson

Week 3 /
  • Complete 2 lessons (New lesson total= minimum 3)

Week 4 /
  • Complete 2 lessons

Week 5 /
  • Catch up WEEK! (If students fall behind they should use this week to catch up. Remember we need to be focused on passing lessons.)

Week 6 /
  • Complete 2 lessons (New lesson total= minimum 7)

Week 7 /
  • Complete 2 lessons ((New lesson total= minimum 9)

Week 8 /
  • Complete 2 more lessons. (New lesson total= minimum 11)

Week 9 /
  • Complete 1 lesson
  • Catch up WEEK! (Pull the Overview Report and make sure that students are passing most lessons. Also make sure the kids are keeping up with their math journals)

Week 10 /
  • Complete 2 lessons (New lesson total= minimum 14)

Week 11 /
  • Complete 2 lessons (New lesson total= minimum 16)

Week 12 /
  • Complete 2 more lessons. ((New lesson total= minimum 18)

Week 13 /
  • Complete 1 lesson
  • Catch up WEEK! Look at the Over view report students need to be passing 70% of the lessons the

Week 14 /
  • Complete 2 more lesson(New lesson total = minimum20)

Week 15 /
  • Completing 2 more lesson (New lesson total = minimum22)

Week 16 /
  • Complete 2 more lessons. (New lesson total = minimum 24)

Week 17 /
  • Catch up WEEK!Check Overview Report regularly. As you approach testing use the Standards Report to target intervention.

Week 18 /
  • Complete 2 more lessons. Your students should now have 26 lessons done.

Week 19 /
  • Complete 2 more lessons. (New lesson total = minimum 28)

Week 20 /
  • Complete 2 Lessons (You have reached 30 LESSONS!! Congratulations!)

Week 21 /
  • Catch up WEEK! If some of your students haven’t hit 30 here is a great time to get them refocused!

Week 22 /
  • Complete 2 more lessons (New lesson total = minimum 32)

Week 23 /
  • Complete 2 more lessons this week! (New lesson total = minimum 34)

Week 24 /
  • Complete 2 more lessons. (New lesson total =minimum 36. It is possible your students have started on a new pathway so their number may be different.)

Week 25 /
  • Catch up WEEK! Testing is getting closer now. Pull the Standards Report and see what concepts you may need to go back over in your classroom. Most of your students should also be ready for Test Preparation pathways.

Week 26 /
  • Complete 2 more lessons. 38 total lessons done.

Week 27 /
  • Complete 2 more lessons. 40 lessons completed.

Week 28 /
  • Complete 2 more lessons. 42 lessons done. Your kids are now 12 over the goal of 30 lessons by testing or started on a new pathway! Way to go!!

Week 29 /
  • Testing has probably wrapped up about now. Your studentsshould be wrapping up or finished with their pathways. Now could be a great time to start on the next grade level!!
