Lesson 1 I.C.T. : INITIATION INTO THE E-MAIL

Didactic aims:
1.To initiate into the e-mail.
2.To create an e-mail account.
3.To log in the gmail account.
4.To read and write messages.
5.To familiarize with the e-mail lexicon.
  1. Create your own e-mail account:

1a. Open Internet by the browser Mozilla Firefox

1b. Write into the webs bar:


1c. Click on Crea un compte

1d. Follow all the steps writing your data down.

1e. Your username must be your name and surnames by lower case letter (without capital letters or accents), and your password, the word “pupil” and the number you occup into the class list. E.G. : “pupil08”

1f. Now, you have already created your gmail account. You are a gmail user!

1g. Close Internet.

  1. Login to your GMAIL account:

2a. Open Internet with the Mozilla Firefox browser.

2b. Write into the webs bar:

2c. Where you can see nom d’usuari, write yours, without the symbol @ or gmail.com


2d. Add your own contrasenya

2e. Click on Inicieu la sessió

  1. CHECK YOUR EMAILS :

3a. Left bar, click once on Safata d’entrada

3b. For reading a message click once on matter or user. When you finish reading the message you can go back to all the messages clicking on Safata d’entradaagain

3c. If you want to delete a message , click on the little square in front of the message , it will appear a tick (√), then click Suprimeixon the top bar . If you want to read it again you can find it in més  Paperera

3d. If you don’t want to receive mails from one user , click on the small square in front on the message , it will appear a tick (√), then click on Marca-ho com a correu brossa

  1. SEND AN EMAIL :

4a. On the left menu click on Redacta un missatge

4b.Complete the asked fields with your friend’s account and send him any greeting with matter and message ( do this in English)

4c. Check if the mail has arrived ( ask your friend )

4d. Answer or forward the message

  1. OPEN AN E-MAIL

5a. Open the message that teacher has sent and answer all , that way you can add all the contacts you are going to need this course
