The plots are located within the site of what was formerly a school. The buildings have been demolished and the remainder of the site is to be developed largely for housing, although the Council are constructing a small children’s home adjacent to the plots. The surrounding area is residential in character. The plots benefit from unrivalled views over the Clyde estuary and the Argyll hills beyond.

DESCRIPTION

All offers must strictly comply with the terms and conditions as set out in the attached Standard Conditions of Sale. These will be forwarded to all parties who register an interest, and will include an address label which must be affixed to the front of all envelopes containing offers. The envelope should clearly indicate which plot the offer relates to.

In assessing bids for these plots, the Council will not only take into consideration the price offered, but will also look to the personal information sheet submitted by each offerer and will assess the suitability of each party considered against the Council’s repopulation Initiative. The Council’s preference will be for families building for owner occupation.
