Course Description
/
  • LEED AP+ O&M credential signifies an extraordinary depth of knowledge in green building practices and specialization in a particular field. The Professional Accreditation Operations & Maintenance course is a thorough training in green building practices and the LEED O&M Rating System.
  • This rating system updates and replaces the LEED-EBOM (for Existing Buildings Operation & Maintenance) v2008 rating system, and launches April 27, 2009.

Goals
/
  • Obtain knowledge and skills required to pass the USGBC LEED AP+ O&M Practitioner Test. For details regarding this credential please follow this link:LEED AP+ O&M.
  • Gain the knowledge required to assist project teams in achieving the LEED O&M certification for buildings managed and owned by the State.
  • Equip attendees with the knowledge to help address and achieve the State of California's GHG emission reduction programs & green building initiatives.

Requirements
/
  • Attendance at each training session
  • Complete regular reading assignments and homework
  • LEED EB Certification project experience
    (If attendee does not currently have project experience, DGS can pair candidates with buildings that are currently in the certification process)
