1)  Write your name on this document

2)  Using Dreamweaver create a XHTML web page containing the following info

  1. A Title of “assignment #4”
  2. A least 3 of the 6 possible Section headers
  3. Give each header a name and a title
  4. A division, a paragraph and an in-line span
  5. Add some comments
  6. Your name
  7. Date you created this web page
  8. Include all of the following text elements
  9. Bold
  10. Italic
  11. Preformatted text
  12. Big and small text
  13. Monospaced text
  14. Quoted text (with reference)
  15. Superscript and subscript
  16. Using Paint Shop Pro Create the following images
  17. A transparent gif of your name (Image 1)
  18. A animation of your name (Image 2)
  19. An photorealistic image downloaded from the web (Image 3)
  20. Recompress to smaller file size but the same image size (Image 4)
  21. Resize to half the original size (Image 5)
  22. Include the images you create (total of 5 images) into the web page
  23. Make sure each image has alternate text and a title
  24. Make sure you specify size for each image
  25. Rescale image 3 to 50% of Browser viewable width
  26. Create some text describing Image 3 and create the following
  27. float the text to the right of image 3
  28. float the text to the left of image 4

3)  Make sure you have a background color or image

4)  Save the document as test4.htm

5)  Using ftp place test4.htm in your ftp directory on allagash.umfk.maine.edu

6)  Using ftp place all the 5 images into your ftp directory on perleybrook.umfk.maine.edu

7)  Verify the new web page works by clicking on your name on the COS 125 home page on perleybrook.umfk.maine.edu

8)  Complete the following table by putting your initials in the completed column and upload the document onto WebCT.

9)  This table will be completed by the Instructor with the scores you received for this assignment and presented to you via WebCT.
