Design and Technology Teacher – Food and/or Textiles Technology

Required from September 2015 we are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated professional with drive and ambition, to teach Design and Technology – Food and/or Textiles Technology in our innovative and exciting Multi Academy Trust, currently of two local schools.

Bushey Meads School (BMS) is an 11-18, oversubscribed, successful mixed comprehensive Specialist Technology School at a very exciting time in its development. It is part of the Bushey St James Trust, an innovative and exciting Multi-School Academy Trust formed in February 2012 with Little Reddings Primary School. It is committed to continuous improvement and creativity across The Trust.

We are now looking to recruit an outstanding Design and Technology (Food and/or Textiles Technology) teacher, who will enjoy working in a school that values and delivers excellent professional development. The successful candidate will be capable of inspiring students in KS3 – KS5 through their passion for the subject, and have a firm belief in the potential of all students. An excellent subject knowledge is essential as is the ability to confidently lead GCSE and A level groups.

This post could suit an NQT or a more experienced teacher able to take on a leadership role within the faculty for an appropriate salary.
