LEARNING OUTCOMES FOR ASI STUDENT AND STAFF TEAM MEMBERS

ASI seeks to provide experiences and opportunities to students that extend their learning beyond the classroom. Through student leadership and employment, our organization strives to instill and develop skills and competencies or learning outcomes that are essential to their growth and development.

The learning outcomes that have been ranked highly by previous student and staff team members include the following:

  • Guide others towards a desired result or outcome
  • Plan ahead and respond to unforeseen developments
  • Separate organizational from personal interests

  • Express ideas clearly and professionally in verbal and written terms
  • Listen to others and provide feedback in a tactful manner

My first action I would do is realize my faults and what I need to improve on. People involved are my committee members and myself.- Chis Baliwas

Getting a Planner, setting schedule long in advance, speak with advisors to make this happen.- Sam Barrera

I would talk to my advisor and she would be involved.- Tory Truong

The first action would be for me to practice and the people to be involved would be myself and all those who I network with.- Miguel Canto

I would talk to my advisor first, and then discuss what steps I should take to start work on these skills. Like sponsoring a program.- Andrea Nechvatal
