6An"educationalcomponent"isaself-containedandformalstructuredlearningexperiencethatfeatureslearningoutcomes,creditsandformsofassessment.Examplesofeducationalcomponentsare:acourse,module,seminar,laboratorywork,practicalwork,preparation/researchforathesis,mobilitywindoworfreeelectives.

7Coursecatalogue:detailed,user-friendlyandup-to-dateinformationontheinstitution’slearningenvironmentthatshouldbeavailabletostudentsbeforethemobilityperiodandthroughouttheirstudiestoenablethemtomaketherightchoicesandusetheirtime mostefficiently.Theinformation concerns,forexample,the qualifications offered,thelearning,teachingand assessmentprocedures,the levelofprogrammes,the individualeducationalcomponents andthe learningresources.TheCourse Catalogue shouldincludethenamesofpeopletocontact,withinformationabouthow,whenandwheretocontactthem.

8ECTScredits(orequivalent):incountrieswherethe"ECTS"systemisnotinplace,inparticularforinstitutionslocatedinPartnerCountriesnotparticipatingintheBolognaprocess,"ECTS"needstobereplacedintherelevanttablesbythenameoftheequivalentsystemthatisused,andaweblinktoanexplanationtothesystemshouldbeadded.
