Class VII graduation & Class VIII Welcome / March 16, 2013 / Annapolis / The Foundation invites fellows, alumni, sponsors, and friends to attend the Class VII (2011- 2012) graduation. At this time Class VIII (2013 – 2014) will be introduced. This is an opportunity to meet LEAD alumni, socialize and network; participate in LEAD Maryland Foundation fundraiser;

Travel
Study Tour / Date to be determined / Location to be determined / Public Issues: Seeing oneself, the region and issues differently through a travel study tour experience; Economics; culture; politics, policy, education, trade, environment, social development, agriculture, natural resources, urban and rural communities of travel destination;
Skills: Journal daily experiences; write and publish a newspaper article about experience; research and present research to class in advance of and in preparation for travel study
LEAD Maryland Foundation’s Class VIII Biennial Symposium project / Date to be determined / Location to be determined / The Class VIII Fellows are asked to apply skills such as: team building, consensus building, communications, public speaking and other leadership skills to plan and implement a symposium to a large, targeted audience.
