London walks, often less than four miles but can take longer than two hours due to the numbers on the walk, the busy roads that need to be crossed and the historical explanations given by the leader. Please gather closely round the leader for these explanations and refrain from chatting at the back to enable others to hear. Please expect London walks to take longer. You may of course, leave the walk early, having first told the leader or back marker.
For your own and others' safety please read and abide by any advice and guidelines issued by the organisers and the instructions of the walk leader.Though walking is inherently one of the safest outdoor activities, no activity is completely
without risk and it is your responsibility to behave sensibly and to minimise the potential for accidents to occur, including crossing roads during “green man” phase
