How integrate games and to play into the youth’s activities?

Aims

The project propose a meeting of 6 days to 30 participants from 7 European countriesto work about collective gamesthat we can use into our formal or non formal educational projects.

The mains axe of the seminary will be the reflexion about consequences and the place of the game in the youth’s work and in our educational process in formal or non formal field.

The game have a role into socialization and educational process and we want discuss his place into the question of tolerance and into the fight against racism.

- built of autonomy,

- rules and norms

- integration, exclusion

Methods

Each participants can carry his experiences about the use of game in his educational place and experiences and is very important to carry a documentation of this. We will do a dossier that we will share in the seminay.

Question sheet about the living practices before will get the possibility to share and discuss about the place of the game into the process of education and socialization of youths.

Developing of seminary:

1. Before the meeting

preliminary step : information exchange by internet, use as a game.

2.During the meeting

2.1. Knowledge step: using knowledge games.

2.2. Social step in the meetingand of discussion of topics with different work shop about these items:

- Game as tool to discover myself

- Game as learn tool of respect of rules

- Game as competition

- game as cooperation form and group work

- game as tool to develop a plural vision

- game as non verbal expression

- game as space of distance

- game as body expression

During the work-shop, the participants will involve to develop a great number of expression non verbal form to empower the ideas’ and perceptions’ confrontation

2.3.Visit stepwith a game to discover Budapest. The game will built together from the start of seminary and connect with the contents of the seminary too.

2.4.Final step: work of reflexion about the possibility to built future projects about these topics and to answer to the open questions issued from the seminary. We want image how we will use the results of our work into the social and educational structures using internet.

Languages

The translation in French and English will be do if necessary par languages studentsand with a complementary daily languages games .

Aims : to make a reflexion about place of game and of to play in the youth’s work and in non formal educational practices: how the games should help to the socialization and educational process? to play together and share our experiences about game.

  • Presentation of the group, of centre and of program
  • Welcome evening: breaking games

29 April Knowledge of the other participants with special games of communication

  • Sharing of experiences of each participants: reflexion about the lace and using of knowledge games in educational frame
  • Language games to acquired a vocabulary to survive in Hungry
  • Introduction of work-shops about 4 topics:
    - game and discover of myself
  • - the place of the rule in the game (the respect of the norm)
  • - games of competition, games of cooperation
  • Games close or games open to a plural vision
  • Introduction of non verbal expression tools to empower the confrontation of ideas and of perceptions.
  • Evening «international lunch» with speciality (food from each country)carried by the participants

30 April

  • Language games to acquired a vocabulary to survive in Hungry
  • 2° part of work-shop

1er May

  • Préparation d’un jeu de découverte pour découvrir une ville

2 May

  • Application of «vocabulary to survive» with a game to discover Budapest
  • Evaluation of the game in Budapest

3 May

  • Synthesis about games and the topics of work-shops
  • Discussion about the use of game into our pedagogical and intercultural practices and projects.
  • Balance of the seminary
  • Final party

4 May

  • Reorganization and cleaning of material and rooms
  • Departures of the participants

Financial conditions

  • Travel cost will reimbursed (after presentation of tickets and travel board) for the 70% of the cost and for a cost non more than 250€. Only the participant that have be present at all seminary should keep the reimbursement of money
  • Accommodation and food costwill paid by the organization thanks to the financial help from Europe Council
  • Each participant do pay an inscription of 50 euros. This money will redoubt from the travel cost or paid in seminary
  • The reimbursement will be do at the end of the seminary
