Staff Appreciation
Staff Appreciation Week is May 5th-9th. During Staff Appreciation Week, the PTA / VCCS parents will host a number of events to show our awesome staff how much they are appreciated. From lunch, to book fair events, to breakfast and beyond, we have fun things planned throughout the week for our staff. Look for a flyer in the week’s bulletin board for more information.
Movie Night on the Playground
On May 16th we will be showing a movie outside on the playground, with an option to have boxed lunches delivered by Angelina’s Kitchen. Stay tuned for more details!
2015 Carnival

Nickelodeon Universe
We have been restocked with Nickelodeon Universe wristbands. Wristbands are available in the school office for $20 each. They are good for a full day; they never expire, and can be used any day.
2013-2013 PTA Directory
The revised 2013-2014 PTA directory was emailed to those included in the directory. If you are a VCCS family and did not receive a copy, you can request a copy by emailing . This directory is intended for the personal use of VCCS families; the information in the directory should not be distributed.
Cash for Class
Now that the temperatures are warming up and spring is around the corner, it’s time to get out and go shopping! Shop Woodbury Lakes Mall and turn in your receipts!

Please continue to shop Woodbury Lakes and turn in receipts. The Cash for Class contest runs through mid-May.

Fall Fundraiser – Magazine Sales

T-shirt contest forms are available today under the bulletin board. This is a fun way for kids to express themselves. The winner receives a free shirt!
Wendy’s Night
The first Monday of every month is Wendy’s night!!! Bring your family to Wendy’s from 5:00 to 7:00. 15% of all sales in store and drive thru go right back to Valley Crossing! What a delicious and easy way to support our school!
Box Tops for Education
Save your Box Tops for Education! Valley Crossing earns money for every box top label. A few details: it is best to mount them on the sheets provided with tape; it is okay to turn in partially completed sheets and expiration dates must be valid and visible. A collection sheet will be posted under this week’s bulletin board news.
