Newly launched C-Power to meet growing demand in new energy vehicle market

In its current five-year plan, the Chinese government aims to increase the ownership of battery-electric and plug-in hybrid-electric vehicles to five million by 2020. Various national policies have been implemented to support the growth of electric automobile market in China such as mandating that at least 30 per cent of government owned vehicles is to be electric, plug-in or hybrid.

In Tier One and Two cities such as Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, at least 10 per cent of parking spaces in new residential areas, transport hubs and other large scale car parks are to be reserved for NEV charging facilities.

In view of the highly potential growth in the NEV market, C-Power is launched to bridge the gap between increasing demand for NEVs and post-purchase usage, support and maintenance services to ensure a sustainable growth.

The show will feature charging technology and devices, charging stations and facilities, security and surveillance systems, battery management systems and other components.

Dedicated business matching programme launched for G-Power and W-Power
