*After question is answered, here is a good response:

  • Our solution can accelerate your cash flow by up to 3 – 7 days versus paper checks.
  • It can improve administrative efficiency by enabling staff to easily match the payment with the claim by referencing the TRN (Trace Re-association Number, included with the payment.
  1. Is your staff is spending too much time manually processing paper check claim payments (e.g. records, reconciling and depositing)?
  • If provider responds affirmatively, they will be a good fit for our new Medipaid program service.

*After question is answered, here is a good response:

  • By reducing manual processes and automating check posting and reconciliation, practices have an opportunity to refocus staff on activities that optimize operations and improve the patient experience. Medipaid not only enables the provider to transition more of their claim payments to electronic deposits, but it also offers distribution options to automate posting.

  • If the provider responds affirmatively, they will be a good fit for Medipaid

*After question is answered, here is a good response:

  • Electronic deposits can accelerate cash flow by speeding up payment receipt.
  • In addition, practices that receive check payments in the mail often only deposit these checks once or twice a week, further delaying cash flow.

How much does it cost?

A flat 1.5% transaction fee will be applied on each payment that is processed through Medipaid. Unlike a credit card transaction and third party billing companies, no other fees apply.

How does it compare to the cost of processing a check?

While checks received directly by a healthcare provider may have little or no direct cost, the indirect costs associated with paper check processes could be slowing down cash flow and hampering administrative effectiveness and productivity. Electronic checks do not require staff to open, record, reconcile and deposit payments, so Medipaid time savings versus checks.

When will I begin to receive electronic payments through Medipaid?

Claim payments from participating insurance payers will be automatically deposited to your bank account on file with NTC, starting within the month you enroll.

  • Insurance payers are being actively enrolled each month. As more payers register to participate in our new Medipaid program, more of your checks payments will be converted to electronic deposits.
  • I can send you a link to our current list of participating payers as a reference
