- They started with Costco, BuyLow, Sun Rype etc. They were told they -couldn’t get more than the one time donation due to closure or lack of funds.

- Radio and the Times article has generated enough support that they are able to support 66 kids and 7 schools.

- Started in the Aunts and cousins living room and now assemble for the counsellors.

- Anonymous in order to help keep it comfortable for the kids.

- IGA also packs 10 bags each week and delivers it to the schools they sponsor.

- A & A Broker sponsor pushed for healthy options rather than “KD” and “MR. Noodles.” Introducing fruit options too. Now have had the food delivered to RE Mountain and distribute from there.

- Approx. 10 bags per school/ week at $10.00 each so to be sustainable it would be $5200.00 per year.

Old Business:

1.  Survey of GM across District

In April, after Spring Break we will be rolling out a Survey to see where our parents and the population are at.

We are counting on the PAC Reps on pushing this through. Looking into the next year and get info to best serve the membership.

Will answer some key questions regarding services like translation etc.

2.  Registration for BCCPAC AGM

Fill out your Proxy Forms if you can and please look into what it means

New Business

-  Lines of Communication (Maintenance Services for PAC funded items)

When PAC’s want things there may be delays and we need to know why.

-  Using a trophy case as an example.

We cannot do it ourselves so we need to go through the proper channels and communicate to open lines of communication so it can go about in a timely and effective manner.

- Email addresses and contacts were shared in order to direct the PAC reps to the appropriate people.

- Do not go through DPAC as we cannot approve or deny the work but we can point you in the right direction

***Richard from Yorkson Creek brought up supporting Weekend Fuelbag***

Motion - In consideration of the need for funds for the Weekend Fuelbag, we propose that the DPAC allocate $5200 from the 2016 - 2017 General Budget for their use.
