The School Board of the Parish of Lafayette, State of Louisiana, met in regular session at its meeting place, the Lafayette Parish School Board Administrative Building, Board Room, Lafayette, Louisiana, on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 5:30 P.M. pursuant to notice given in writing to every member.

2. Reserve for Survey of Projects (Survey of Principals with Administrative Addendum)
Superintendent Cooper provided the Board with a list of capital projects that the Principals felt needed to be addressed on their campuses. He said that administration had reviewed the projects and that the cost to fund them would be about $15 million.
3. School Resource Officer Activity Report
Sgt. Mark Francis with the Lafayette City Police Department, and Supervisor of the ten school resource officers, provided the Board with arrest reports for August and September on the following schools: Acadian Middle; W. D. Smith & Mary Baker Career Center; Comeaux High, E. A. Martin Middle; Lafayette Middle, Lafayette High, L.J. Alleman, Northside, Moss Prep, Paul Breaux Middle and Thibodaux STEM Magnet. Sgt. Francis said that he is working on possibly getting safety officers to enforce school rules and support what the principal needs; and he is comfortable with what is in place.
Sandra Billeaudeau, Assistant Principal, reported that staff is working on a safety package and will bring back to the Board additional information.

1. Turnaround Plan Technology Task Force. Action to be taken at a subsequent meeting.
2. No Dropouts Partnership with LPSS. Action to be taken at a subsequent meeting.
3. Approval of Projects List for $30 Million Limited Tax Bonds Issue and $3 Million Capital Projects Funds. Action to be taken at a subsequent meeting.
