PRESENTS - THE 9th ANNUAL

LABOUR DAY WEEKEND SPEED SKATING CAMP

When:Saturday September 3rd 2016 – Monday September 5, 2016

Where:Canmore Recreation Centre, Canmore, AB.

What:A camp that is targeted to developing sound fundamentals, giving the skaters a solid base to build their season from. Skaters will be divided into two groups, based on ability. Each group will have two, 1 hour 15 minute on ice sessions per day. There will be daily off ice and classroom sessions.

Who:Anyone with previous speed skating experience, previous racing experience not necessary.

Cost:$175/skater

For families registering more than one skater, $150/additional skaters

Cheques payable to B/CSSC, payable on first day of camp, Saturday September 3rd, 2016

Accommodations: The camp is taking place at high season for tourists in Canmore, so book early. There are numerous hotels, motels and bed and breakfasts available in Canmore, but high season rates will be in effect.

Hostels

The Alpine Club of Canada: Has hostel style of accommodation, complete with full service kitchen. Rates are $25/adult and $16/child. Identify yourself with the Speed Skating Camp
