Dear Parent:
Parent congratulatory ads in the 2018 Leopard Spots yearbook can now be purchased for your graduating senior. These ads recognize your graduating student and his/her accomplishments. They are a fun way for parents and other relatives to express their love and congratulations to these talented seniors. Please begin pulling photographs you would like to appear in the yearbook and think about any special words you would like to include in your message.
Baby pictures, elementary school pictures, and senior pictures are popular choices for parent ads. You may submit the photos in either black and white or in color. Some parents choose to split the cost of an ad with another family in order to show their children growing up together. Traditionally, these ads remain a secret until the student receives his/her yearbook, but students can also participate in designing these ads.
We advise parents and students to avoid the following content: couple photos and romantic messages, nude baby photos, political statements, anything that might invade the privacy or dignity of an individual. copyrighted material, and photos depicting alcohol or illegal substances. You may cut out objectionable content, but keep the photo in a rectangular format. You may submit a hard copy to be scanned and returned in a labeled bag/envelope, or you may submit a digital file in jpg format at 300 dpi.
Purchasing and producing an ad is easy. A staff member will be assigned to your ad’s production. Please fill out the attached form and mail it with materials and payment to the address listed. Please specify the size of the ad you would like to purchase, the content of the ad, and the number of photos included. Make checks payable to La Grange ISD.
You may pay with a credit card at starting in September, and/or design your ad online as well. The deadline for purchasing parent ads to reserve your space is Wednesday, September 20th!!!Ad orders which are incomplete or turned in after the deadlines are subject to a 20% late fee and ultimately may not be featured in the yearbook.
