Session I: June 12 – June 23 Mornings Session II: June 19 – June 30 Evenings
Session III: July 10 – July 21 Mornings
Times: Morning Level V and VI: 8:00 am - 8:45 am Evening LEVEL I and II: 4:00 Pm – 4:35 Pm
LEVEL III and IV: 8:45am – 9:20 am LEVEL III and IV: 4:40 Pm – 5:20 Pm LEVEL I and II: 9:20am – 9:50 am Level V and VI: 5:30 Pm - 6:15 Pm
Cost: $20.00 per child per session. Cash or Checks made payable to Koon’s Pool.
Ages: Children MUST have completed kindergarten to register
You may register for ANY session. Due to the large number taking the classes, you may only signup for one program per child
What to wear: Swimmers bathing suits – they may wear shirts in the water. Bring a towel and sweats or a cover-up in case of cool weather. Secure long hair with a cap or ponytail holder and bangs back. Remove jewelry before coming to the pool. NO Goggles. We are NOT responsible for items left in the locker room or pool area.
Severe weather: listen to WINK 104 for cancellations
Which level should I register my child: If your child has an American Red Cross Swimming Certificate, register him/her in the next level (ex. level I Certificate holders should register in Level II; If your child has never taken swimming lessons but, can swim 10 ft on front with face in the water & back unassisted, register them in Level III). All children will be screened and placed during the first class into appropriate level for their skills.
All spectators must wait outside the pool area!
due to liability for the pool and Red Cross only water safety instructors, students and assigned volunteers will be permitted in the pool area once classes have begun. NO children will be allowed in the baby pool. The last day of each session, parents/grandparents will be allowed to stay and take pictures. The last day there is a party to celebrate your child’s success. In the week prior you will be ask to bring items for the celebration.
Please note that all workers and water safety instructors are volunteers. Please be respectful.

**For the safety of the children and to reduce confusion – ALL PARENTS are asked to leave the swimming area after your child is checked in. Please feel free to stand by the fence outside the pool to observe your child.
