KNSO Telemundo Fresno Improves Signal and Expands Coverage

Fresno, CA – KNSO Telemundo Fresno announced that they are improving their signal and broadening their coverage area effective December 31, 2009. The antenna used to transmit the Telemundo Fresno signal will be upgraded from 7 kilowatts to 45 kilowatts allowing for increased reach. The new signal travels as far as Modesto in the north valley and to McFarland in the south valley.

As a result of this improvement viewers who receive their television signal from an antenna will need to rescan their digital converter boxes beginning December 31 at 7am in order to continue to see Telemundo Fresno.

Fresno, CA – KNSO Telemundo Fresno anunció la mejora de su señal y la expansión de su área de cobertura a partir del 31 de diciembre del 2009. La antena utilizada para transmitir la señal de Telemundo Fresno aumentará de 7 kilowatts a 45 kilowatts permitiendo un mayor alcance. La nueva señal llega hasta Modesto en el norte del valle y hasta Mc Farland en el sur del valle.

Como resultado de esta mejora, para poder continuar viendo Telemundo Fresno, los televidentes que reciben su señal de televisión a través de una antena deberán volver a escanear sus cajas convertidoras a partir del 31 de diciembre a las 7 de la mañana.
