Steak dinner was a great success! I want to thank everyone that nominated me as Knight of the Year for 2009. I really appreciate the acknowledgment.

Auburn Rescue fund raiser was another Knights success story. The raffle and the breakfast raised more than $800 total. For those of you that have not heard, Jack Frary won the John Deere weed trimmer.

Talked with Larry Waskowiac the other day and he mentioned his gratitude for the Knights thoughtfulness. He said that the gas card will really come in handy for his many trips to Lincoln as Kathy takes her chemo treatments. Kathy was at home at the time of our conversation and seemed to be doing as well as expected with all she has to go through. Both Larry and Kathy are showing great spirits and have an optimistic attitude on their struggles.

Events coming up before our next meeting include our monthly breakfast tomorrow morning for our general funds. We will be raising money for our seminarians during our August breakfast.

Reports due include our officer report due June 30th, service program report due August 1st, and our semi-annual audit due August 15th.
