Skills and Specialists
-Synthesis and analysis of graft copolymerization by emulsion polymerization. Graft copolymerization of methyl methacrylate and styrene onto natural rubber using as an impact modifier for poly(vinyl chloride) has been studied in Master’s thesis.
-General physical and chemical testing of polymer such as tensile testing, impact testing, hardness etc. included basic characterization of polymer, for example, GPC, SEM, TEM etc.
-Spectroscopy characterization for polymer and catalysts such as IR, NMR, X-ray, and MS.
-Polymer processing such as extruder, compression molding, and two-roll mill.
-Reactor skills, reactor system design for copolymerization using air and moisture sensitive catalysts has been designed in Post-doctoral project. Modification of Gas-uptake apparatus for hydrogenation reaction has been done in Ph.D. work.
-Handling and working with air and moisture sensitive substances using Schlenk technique and dry box.
-Strong influence in homogeneous catalyst for hydrogenation and polymerization reaction. The metallocene and late transitions metal catalysts have been studied in Post-doctoral project.
