Cleaning supplies are provided by the church and are stored in the closet behind the kitchen. All areas and equipment must be washed with appropriate cleaners.
STAINLESS STEAL CLEANER – use on exterior of stainless units only

_____Convection oven – exterior ______Triple sinks
_____Freezer/Fridge combo – exterior______Garbage trough
_____Stove top & control knobs
SANI-TYZE CLEANER – use on the following surfaces
_____Wash down tables thoroughly______Corner microwave
_____Center Island – work station______Rolling chopping block
DISINFECTING WIPES
_____Restroom countertops & sinks
All other cleaning should be done with SOAP and WATER and rinse thoroughly
Additional Required Cleaning Duties – KITCHEN/DINING AREA
_____No food is to be left or stored in the refrigerators or freezers
_____All dishes must be washed in soapy water, rinsed, & scrubbed before placing in dishwasher All dishes must be dry and put away
_____Coffee and tea urns, and filters, must be run through the dishwasher
_____Wash the braising pan if it was used
_____NO GREASE should go down the drains. Dispose of grease in trash cans
_____Clean coffee machine
_____Clean tea machine
_____Wash drain rack
_____Clean mixer & stand
_____Refill salt & pepper shakers (if needed)
_____DEGREASE – food trench in stainless sink
_____Run dishwasher (NOTE – all food should be removed from plates, and inside dishwasher
_____Empty strainer basket
_____Open drain plug in sinks
_____Turn off dishwasher power at the breaker box
_____Run garbage disposals, with water running, before leaving the kitchen
_____Leave 2 doors open
_____Take trash to dumpster (if custodian is not hired)
_____Put clean bags in trash containers
_____Sweep kitchen floor
_____Mop kitchen floor
_____Vacuum floors (if custodian is not hired)
Non-Church member groups should provide the following items if needed for the event
- Coffee, tea, condiments
- Paper goods – napkins, plates, cups, etc
- Take-out or food storage containers
- Tablecloths
Please return all items to their original place.
This form must be filled out and submitted to the FUMC office to receive the security deposit.
