CLASS 33.BSPS OPEN FIRST PONY of SHOW HUNTER TYPE. Mare or gelding 4yrs or over, not exc. 122cms. Riders not to have attained their 10th birthday before 1st Jan. 2016. Snaffle Bridles only. No cantering allowed except for individual performances, ponies must leave the ring at a walk or trot.

CLASS 35.NATIVE/COB/TRADITIONAL TYPE OPEN RIDDEN Mare, gelding or stallion, 4 yrs old and over, any height. Riders any age but must be suitable height for exhibit.
CLASS 36.NON-NATIVE OPEN RIDDEN Mare, gelding or stallion, 4 yrs old and over, any height. Riders any age but must be suitable height for exhibit.
CHAPS COLOURED CHAMPIONSHIP 1ST & 2NDPrizewinners from classes 34–36 Incl.
This show is affiliated to the Coloured Horse and Pony society (UK) Affiliation No. 1622 Both the owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registere3d with CHAPS (UK) to compete. However in order to qualify both owner and Rider/Exhibitor need to be a current showing member and present their valid Qualifier card IN THE RING for signing by the judge. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card. The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 31st August
– 3rd September 2016.
The following classes are CHAPS(UK) Qualifiers 34,35 & 36. For full rulings and information on competition/qualification, please refer to the CHAPS (UK) Member’s Handbook or visit for rulings. ALL STALLIONS, 4 YRS OLD AND OVER ENTERING THESE CLASSES MUST BE GRADED WITH CHAPS(UK). ALL STALLIONS MUST WEAR STALLION ID DISCS IN THE RING WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

ALL COMPETITORS MUST WEAR HARD HATS TO *BSEN1384/*PAS015/ *ASTMF1163 STANDARD AT ALL TIMES WHEN MOUNTED.
IT IS ADVISED THAT JUMPING COMPETITORS WEAR BACK PROTECTORS.
ENTRY FEES ARE NON-RETURNABLE.
NO ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE COMMENCEMENT OF THE CLASS.
THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL. ANY OBJECTIONS MUST BE MADE TO THE SECRETARY ACCOMPANIED BY A £10 DEPOSIT.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL OR AMMALGAMATE ANY CLASS.
NO LIABILITY IS ACCEPTED FOR ANY INJURY, ACCIDENT, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO SPECTATORS, ANIMALS, VEHICLES OR PERSONAL PROPERTY.
HORSES OR PONIES THAT WISH TO COMPETE “H.C.” WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO COMPETE IN ANY OTHER CLASS AT THE SHOW.

B.S.P.S Summer Championships 2016This Show is a qualifier for the BSPS Summer Championships. Anyone qualifying MUST send their entries to BSPS Office within 24hours of qualifying. 1st and 2nd prize winners in the following will qualify:

Novice or Open 128cms. 138cms. & 148cms Show Ponies
Open Nursery Stakes,Novice or Open 133cms, 143cms, 153cms WHP. Open 122cms. 133cms. 143cms & 153cms SHP.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners in the following will qualify:
Open Cradle Stakes. Open Intermediate classes SRT, WH & SHT including Mixed Height Intermediate
Heritage M & M Open Lead Rein, First Ridden, Ridden & WHP Classes.And 1st – 4th in Mixed Height Classes will qualify.
The 1st placed pony from the BSPS Heritage Open Classes will qualify for the B.S.P.S. “Industrial Salt Supplies” WOW Factor (“Winner of Winners”) at the BSPS Summer Championship Show.
BSPS Premier League This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Premier League.
1st,2nd, 3rd & 4th placed ponies in the following Open classes-. Lead Rein, & First Ridden, 128cms. 138cms. & 148cms. Show Pony, Lead Rein Hunter Type, 122cms. 133cms. 143cms. & 153cms. Show Hunter Pony, Cradle &NurseryStakes, 133cms. 143cm. 153cms. WHP, IntermediateSRT, SH & WH and Open Heritage Lead Rein, First Ridden, Ridden & WHP classes.
In mixed height classes 1st – 4th will qualify. The final will be held at the Summer Championships Show.
BSPS “Black Country Saddles” Best Rider The Best Rider in each of the following classes at all BSPS Summer qualifying shows will be awarded a Best Rider Card and qualify for the final at the Summer Championships Show: Open Lead Rein, Open First Ridden, Open 128cms. 138cms. & 148cms. Show Ponies, Open Lead Rein Hunter Type, Open 122cms. 133cms. 143cms. & 153cms. Show Hunter Ponies, Open Cradle & Nursery Stakes, Open 133cms. 143cms 153cms. Working Hunter Ponies, Open Intermediate SRT., SH. & WH. Classes.
Open Heritage Lead Rein & First Ridden andto the best rider 25years and underin the Heritage Ridden and WHP classes will receive a Card and qualify for the final at the BSPS Summer Championship Show.
BSPS “Classic Security UK Ltd” Challenge; This show is a qualifier for the BSPS Challenge. The highest placed pony in the Lead Rein, First Ridden, Open Show Pony, Lead Rein of Hunter TypeOpen SHP, Nursery stakes, Open Working Hunter Ponies, Open Intermediate SRT,SH and WH, and Open Heritage Lead Rein, First Ridden, Ridden and WHP Classes that has not already qualified for the 2016 HOYS in the appropriate class will qualify. If the highest placed has already qualified the qualification will be awarded to the next eligible pony. If after qualifying a pony qualifies for the HOYSit will forfeit it’s qualification for the BSPS Challenge.

The Champion in each of the following sections at all BSPS Affiliated Summer Qualifying Shows will qualify for the final of the Champion of Champions at the Summer Championships Show:- The Mini SP Champ. Mini WHP Champ. Open SP Champ. Open SHP Champ. Open WHP/WH Champ. Open Intermediate Champ. In Mixed Height /Breed classes the first prize-winner will qualify.
ENTRY FEES:
BSPS classes £10.00 per class in advance, £12.00 on the day.
PRIZE MONEY TO 3rd PLACE. 1st £10.00, 2nd £5.00, 3rd £3.00.
Where there are less than5 entries only 1st prize money will be awarded..
