The Essay:
Ms. Keeney opened every morning at King Springs with the following statement: “Make good choices, do the right thing, and have a good day at King Springs.”Tell us of a time when you had to make the tough decision to make the right choice or do the right thing. How did you make the decision and what did you learn?
The committee members will be especially interested in these points: an explanation of the role specific values have in your decision making, how your values reflect your character, and your approach to a growth mindset and life-long learning.
Attach your essay to this form. The essay is limited to nomorethan 1,000 words, two print pages (approximately 6,000 characters). Recommendation: Carefully proof your essay and know that well-done short essays are admired.
