Autobiography
Earliest Memory: My earliest childhood memory was when I was around the age of two years old. My family and I went to visit our close family friends in Vermont. I believe it was sometime in December because we went up there to go on a skiing trip, and we typically only do that in December or maybe early January. But I remember running around the living room being chased by their son, Chad until I heard a loud crashing sound from the other room. We ran in there to see Chad’s brother Greg standing on a chair in the kitchen with a bunch of pots and pans on the ground around him. Then I remember our parents running in the room yelling at the three of us.
Kindergarten: I remember that I went to Sandy Hook Elementary, and I only went to school for half the day. My teacher’s name was Mrs. Volmer and in my class was my best friend, Alexis. I loved kindergarten because I loved having time to play with my friends. I don’t remember what I learned in back then but I do remember that whenever I had recess I played with a big group of friends.
Elementary School: My fifth grade teacher, Ms. Charlene Saltarelli was my favorite teacher. She was my favorite because she impressed with how versatile of a teacher she could be. She was primarily my math teacher but she taught me so much more. When my Spanish teacher was out sick she was able to fill in and teacher me Spanish. Ms. Saltarelli also taught me valuable lessons as a fifth grader that still stick with me today.
Sibling Rank Order: I am the oldest child in my family. I don’t think being the oldest affects my personality that much. But I have realized that I tend to take charge of a situation because in my household, I had a large amount of responsibility.
Unique: I don’t have many unique things that have happened throughout my life. One of the only things that I would call unique was that fact that I got to swim with dolphins and stingrays at the age of six. It was like a completely different world getting to be underwater swim with some of nature’s most fascinating creatures.
Proud Parents: I know my parents were extremely proud of me when I graduated high school at the top of my class. They were proud because they had saw how all my hard work paid off and how I was able to reach and achieve all my goals.
Career: I would love to be a nurse and I’m currently on the path to do so. I’m not quite sure what type of nurse I would want to be. But if I have the opportunity to try being any type of nurse such as trauma nurse, scrub nurse, or nurse midwife, I would definitely take the chance.
