Mission: The Kimball County Visitors Committee’s Mission is to maximize the positive economic impact of visitor dollars to the communityby effectively marketing the Kimball Area as a desirable meeting and tourism destination.

HighPoint Welcome Center Committee: Chair – Al Pietsch, Marilyn Patterson
- Welcome Center – What is Tourism roll in this?
- Gather information recently discuss on project
- Do we need one?
- State and Regional participation?
- Where would it be located?
- What would be distributed there?
- How would it be managed?
- What amenities are necessary to have available there?
- What funding is available?
- Maintain a presence with other local tourism entities to gain knowledge and information as well as continuing to assist in marketing efforts (Museum(s), Oliver Reservoir, Four Winds Golf Course, Panorama Point, Wind Energy Farm, The Flumes, Fossil Freeway, Agriculture Attractions??, Other Area Attractions??, etc.).

- Sponsor a “Town Meeting” and invite all stakeholders
- Review the concept of “Branding” Kimball
- Create a “stakeholder communications arrangement” – develop a email chain that all parties can utilize to communicate events, needs, opportunities for others as well as specific results

- What’s the hierarchy?
- Where does the revenue come from?
- How are bills paid?
- Specific protocol for communications with the County Clerk and County Commissioners
- What are the administrative/personnel policies?
- Update By-Laws for the Kimball County Visitor Committee
- Utilize existing By-Laws
- Prepare new By-Laws to present to the County Commissioners
- Discuss adding Ex-officio members without voting rights – Chamber Director, Economic Development Director, ED Committee Member
- Discuss setting amounts for meals
- Discuss changing rule on missing three meetings – regular/special meetings
- Adding Errors & Admissions verbiage
- Adding Indemnification verbiage for Director
