2015 Pleasure Show Schedule

A negative Coggins dated September 1, 2014 or later

is required and must be presented at every show prior to entering classes.

Ridding Pattern June 24 show will have patterns for the Western Equitation classes!

Dates July 22 show will have patterns for theEnglish Equitation classes!

4-H Rules Apply. Entry fee $4.00 per class. NO REFUNDS!!! Ribbons to 6th place.

Pre-assigned stall rentals are available for $20 of which $10 will be refunded upon inspection of clean stall.

Classes are for exhibitors ages 5-19. 4-H age is as of January 1st, 2015, Classes are to prepare the rider and horse for competition.

Casual show attire is allowed. Proper riding boots and hats/helmets are required. Ball caps and tank tops are not allowed.

ASTM-SEI Approved helmets are required for all hunt seat riders. Kent County Youth Fair Dress Code will be followed.

Pony riders must select either their age group or pony classes.

Riders cannot crossover between Walk/Trot & Walk/Trot/Canter classes.

ASTM-SEI Approved helmets are required for exhibitors 8 and under.

* Adult Mentors 18 and older must accompany all Explorers. Spotters will be allowed in all classes in Ring A.

6 and under – mentors must have a lead of their own attached to the horse or pony.

7 and 8 year olds – mentors must be within reaching distance to assist Explorer in case a situation arises.

Kent County 4-H Leaders reserve the right to combine split or cancel classes as necessary.

6 pts for 1st place, 5 pts for 2nd, 4 pts for 3rd, 3 pts for 4th, 2 pts for 5th, 1 pt for 6th, regardless of how many are entered in the class

Must show at 3 shows to qualify for high point pleasure and at 2 shows to qualify for speed high point
