The study programs in KPITTU are offered in three languages – Tajik, Russian and English.

Politechnical institute is a unique high school in the Central-Asian region which independently developed and introduced information technology in educational process. All academic curriculums made up on basis of ESTS credits and under the Bologna process. KPITTU has extensive experience working on internationalization and quality assurance. During 2005 till 2010 took part in 5 projects Tempus. The initiator of the first 5 projects was KPITTU itself. As a result of the project "Establishing Bologna-based internal QA system and webportal for its support" special seminar was held on the initiative of the Ministry of Education of Tajikistan with the participation of all the rectors of universities in Tajikistan. In KPITTU Information System of University (ISU) has been created as unique Internet-based technologies, which covers all aspects of the educational process.

By the Decision of the Ministry of Education of Republic of Tajikistan KPITTU has introduced the credit system of education starting from the September 1st, 2005. Due to this necessity for changing structure of university appeared. Besides changing works of existed divisions of university, new divisions have been added -registration center of achivements of students and improvement center of career of students. As introduction of credit system of education to all universities will provide necessary environment for integration of Tajikistan to Bologna process, KPITTU created special team on studying and realization of goals of Bologna Process. Members of special team and European collegues developed two SCM Tempus projects. With the direct support of these projects qualification requirements for two specialties (for bachelor degrees) in the field of informational technologies have been developed and currently is finishing the adaptation of the content of courses of these specialties to the EU standards. During working on projects members of team studied sets of materials about Bologna Process and came into the conclusion that many of the ambitions of the Bologna Process will be achieved by fully functioning quality assurance system.
