Key Stage 2 – Mad Hatter’s Tea Party Birmingham Botanical Gardens – Monday 11 July 2016
We are organising a school trip for Key Stage 2 pupils to attend The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party at Birmingham Botanical Gardens on Monday 11 July 2016. We shall be leaving school by coach at 10.30 am and will return back to school at 2.45 pm which will be in time to send the pupils home on normal school transport. However this is dependent on traffic, as we cannot anticipate delays. We will contact parents if the pupils will not arrive in time for home transport.
As with all school trips, it is necessary to ask for voluntary contributions from parents/carers. The voluntary cost of the visit is £5.00 per child which will include transport and entry to the Botanical Gardens. We require a voluntary contribution from parents/carers in order to run the visit. We do not wish any student to be excluded for financial reasons and parents/carers who wish their son/daughter to take part but feel unable to make this contribution should contact the school.
If you would like your child to take part in this visit please return the reply slip with your voluntary contribution of £5.00 no later than Monday 4 July 2016.
All children will need to come in school uniform and wear sensible school shoes and if the weather is sunny please provide a sun hat. Please apply sun cream at home if required. Each child will need a packed lunch. If your child is eligible for Free School Meals please indicate below if you would like the school to provide your child with a packed lunch.
