Kennedy/JenksTrinity River Levee Run and All Out Trinityset for March 7

WHAT:Thousands of runners and sports enthusiasts to meet on the Continental Avenue Bridge and West Dallas Gateway for

the Kennedy/Jenks Trinity River Levee Run and All Out Trinity to be heldSaturday, March7. It is the eleventh

running of the race that focuses on bringing people to the Trinity River. Mayor Mike Rawlings and Deputy Mayor Pro

TemAlonzo will officiate the Opening Ceremony.

The run will feature the Trinity Invitational Sprint, 10K run, 5K run and 1mile walk/run. The event alsoincorporates the

Glenn CarterSafety Challenge, an annualfriendly race challenge between the Dallas Fire-Rescue and Police

Departments. The runners will be encouraged and applauded on the MargaretHunt HillBridge by Cheer Teams

from West Dallas.

The Kennedy/Jenks Trinity River Levee Run is produced by the Dallas Running Club, Trinity CommonsFoundation,

and the City of Dallas along withrace partner, Luke’s Locker. Registration is availableeventday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30

a.m.The fitness fun and activities continue after the race withAll Out Trinityfrom 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. At this event

the public will have a chance to participate or watchavariety of sports events on the Continental Avenue Bridge and

West Dallas Gateway and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. Come out forthe Gravelthon, Yoga on the Bridge, RAFT

Marketplace, K9 Paloosa, and other events to kick, jump, run, stretch, pose, bike, or walk. This exciting collection of

fitness activities and events is sponsored by the Trinity Commons Foundation and theCity of Dallas.

About the Trinity River Corridor Project:The Trinity River Corridor Project is the largest and most complex public works and urban development project undertaken by the City of Dallas. This project is a flood protection solution at its heart and one of the largest of its type in the nation.
