Nursery Information

Kendray and Worsbrough Family Centre delivers integrated services for children pre-birth up to 19 years (or 25 years if the young person has a disability) offering a variety of provision according to the needs of local families. Our aim is to improve outcomes for all children and their families so they are equipped for life and ready for school.

Here at Kendray and Worsbrough Family Centre we have a nursery setting which offers sessional care to children from ages 2, 3 and 4 years old. Our provision offers quality learning experiences and care for all of these children. All our nursery staff are qualified, knowledgeable and experienced, they have access to a wide range of resources which ensures the nursery operates to a very high standard at all times.

Whilst your child is with us we work in partnership with you as parents. This ensures that your child’s existing routines are followed and that the structure of their day is led by them, we use their individual interests as learning opportunities to support their learning and development from their first day with us. We have a robust transition policy in place to support both you and your child to settle in the initial starting period, we also carry out home visits to support this transition once again helping you and your child feel welcomed into our setting. Your child's time with us is very important; we want them to be happy, inquisitive and independent learners. We provide a stimulating, safe and caring learning environment where we encourage your child's natural growth and development. All children who attend our setting are allocated a key person on the first home visit who will work with youin planning for your child’sinterestsand next steps, working together in this way will support quality attachments which will in turn help your child to become a confident learner.
