What I Want to Improve

If I were to pick a few aspects of my health that I would want to change and make better it would be my eating habits, daily exercise, and my sleep. All of these aspects are relatively easy to change; yet they will make a huge difference on my life. Although these aspects are relatively easy, the hardest part is actually getting myself to do them. With a couple of goals I am sure that I will be able to achieve what I want to change.

To begin with, my eating habits need to change. Most of the time I catch myself eating late at night. This is not good because your metabolism slows down as it gets later. When your metabolism slows down your body does not break down and process the food as well so you gain weight easier. This can be easily fixed by changing out snacking on foods late at night, with drinking water instead.

My daily exercise also can be changed for the better. It is recommended that an average American get at least 60 minutes a day of physical activity a day. Now that I am inured, I do not get 60 minutes of physical activity every day. I have noticed a difference in not only my weight; but how sluggish I feel in the morning. There is no better feeling than working out at least 60 minutes every day.

Finally my sleep needs improvement. As a freshman in college , it is really hard to get a healthy steady sleeping pattern. It is said that at my age I should be getting at least eight 8 hours of sleep a night. I definitely have not been getting that much sleep. I need to work on getting to bed earlier. I will be able to go to bed earlier if I play less videogames during the day, and instead work on homework. Doing this will make me not have any homework later at night.
