K-State Proud Co-Chair Application 2017-2018

As K-State Proud Co-chair, you will:

  • Dedicate yourself to the K-State Proud Campaign from March 2018 to April 2019
  • Meet weekly to plan and implement the campaign throughout the year
  • Serve as a figurehead and spokesperson of the campaign for marketing and publicity purposes. This includes regular speaking engagements with student organizations, corporate partners, media, etc.
  • Strategically plan, implement, and oversee this major philanthropic campaign at K-State. This includes, but is not limited to marketing, outreach to students, and mobilizing student volunteers.
  • Manage K-State Proud Directors and committees in pursuit of campaign objectives. K-State Proud director positions include: Outreach, Volunteers, Events, Early Edition, Campaign/College Weeks, and Communications.
  • Serve as a liaison between the K-State Proud Campaign and Student Foundation. When selected as co-chair, if not already, you will become a member of Student Foundation.

Qualifications

  • Must be in good standing with Kansas State University.
  • Must be able to commit significant time between March 2018 and March 2019 to the K-State Proud Campaign.
  • Must be willing to lead with a servant heart, visionary mind set, and a competitive edge.
  • Experience engaging a diverse array of groups both on campus and in the community
  • Must have at least a cumulative 2.8 GPA.

Notifications of an offer to interview will be issued by March 5th, 2018. Interviews will be scheduled for the evening of March 6th from 7pm to 9pm. After interview, finalists will be required to present to Student Foundation for 3-5 minutes and then answer a series of prompts on March 11th from 4pm to 6pm.
