Dear Community Supporter,
Junior Service League is thrilled to once again work with the support of the Shawnee High School Athletics Department to bring back Kick Off Supper. On Friday, September 8thJSL members will serve a chili dog supper with all the “fixins” from 5:00-7:00pmprior to the first Shawnee High School football home game of the season. Entertainment will include the cheer and pom squads, and the marching band. Attendees are encouraged to go to the football game to cheer on the Wolves (kickoff at 7:00). All proceeds from this event go to scholarships, including the Taylor Ricks Memorial Scholarship, for Shawnee High School seniors who have chosen to further their education. Last year we gave out $10,993 in scholarships, far surpassing our goal!
Our hope is to continue this long-standing tradition for the community and Junior Service League and we can’t do that without your support. In an effort to recognize our donors, we have devised a system that gives you a prominent position for acknowledgment in the event. You will see in the attached form our 4 tiers for donating to help make this year’s event the best yet! You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to help local students further their education.
