JUNE STUDENT OF THE MONTH

On Wednesday, June 14th, Brocton Elementary School celebrated its character education assembly. Sixteen students were chosen as Students of the Month representing grades K-5. These students demonstrated the trait of Self-Controlon a daily basis. The following students were chosen as Students of the Month for June:

Alexavier Christian-Alex comes to school each day with boundless energy and a happy smile! He is always eager to tackle new projects and tries to do his best. Alex has good manners and is a kind friend to all his classmates.

AnnaBelle Parsell–Annabelle is a very quiet little girl who has learned an incredible amount this year. She is a good listener and really has blossomed this year.

Taylor White-Taylor is a hard worker and a good friend to all of her classmates. She is polite and courteous to adults in school.

Jayla Lack–Jayla is a hard worker who has really grown as a wonderful reader and writer. She is kind and considerate of others and always tries her very best to make good choices to do the right thing.

Jacob Walker –Jacob is a hard worker who always does his best to be organized and ready to go. He is a pleasure to have in class.

Ida Lewis–Ida is a cooperative girl who demonstrates self-control. She has shown responsibility by completing her homework and classroom assignments.

Javier DeJesus Guishard–Javier has made great gains following the routines of the school day. He transitions well and attends lessons.

Chance West-Chance is a very polite young man. He always has his homework done and owns up to things that he has done. He has several friends and I can trust him to always tell the truth.

Raynathan Santiago – Raynathan is a responsible student who takes his work very seriously. He is cooperative in the classroom with his peers and teacher. He always follows the rules in order to stay safe within the school.

Matthew Andin – Matthew works hard every day and sets a good example for good behavior in the classroom. He is helpful to his peers and demonstrates self control during classroom projects and group work.

William McCausland–Liam has worked very hard this year at keeping himself on task and getting his work completed.

Chasity Hess-Chasity is always respectful toward adults and peers. She always has a kind word to say and shows true compassion toward others. In class, she is working hard and taking responsibility for her learning. With peers, she is always helpful and concerned about the safety and welfare of others. Chasity exemplifies all the character traits we hope to see in all the students at BCS.

Dartanyn Gajewski–Dartanynhas really made a lot of progress with keeping his emotions under control and making safe choices. He has improved in special areas as well like gym and music.

Eric Pryll– Eric is hard working and respectful. He is cooperative within the classroom, gets along with others, and tries his best.

William Lanski-Billy can be a student who talks too much and can be easily distracted. But, he is a caring student and knowswhen he crossed a line. He will often apologize for negative behavior once he realizes what's happened. To me, this demonstrates true self-control.

Jordan Corrigan-Jordan has been working very hard at her work and controlling herself in all situations. She has been communicating well with her peers and teachers especially when asking for help instead of getting upset.
