General Announcements:

  • Matt Maassen – voted as OAC general member
  • 20 members present – outstanding attendance!
  • Treasurers Report was read – see below for details
  • George & Joe discussed tires - flat spots. These are due to landing with brakes, too aggressive braking after landing (skids), and, often with poor cross-wind landing techniques. Please work on all of this. Also check tires during each pre-flight.
  • Asked members to look at tire inflations before flight and ask for pressures to be adjusted if they don't look correct. Obtain recommended main and nose tire pressures form "Maintenance & Handling" chapter in the airplane's manual.
